Fees and costs
There are noe tuition fees to be paid at HiST.
However, students must pay a semester fee each semester in order to get a student ID card and get the right to sit for exams. Nordplus and Erasmus exchange students, as well as students from other exchange programmes, do not have to pay this fee, as they are paying semester fees at their home universities.

Semesterfee
The semester fee for normal on-location studies for students in Trondheim is NOK 440. The money is transferred to the Student Welfare Orgainisation, SiT, and is spent on various social and welfare services for the students in Trondheim. See how the money is spent
Copy fee and printouts
In addition to the Semesterfee, students must pay a copy fee and pay for printouts. This fee is paid together with the Semesterfee, and the price is decided upon at each faculty. For more information, contact the information desk at your campus.
