Want to learn Norwegian?

Summer courses at NTNU:

Norwegian is not a very widely spoken language, and is supported by the European Commission in the framework of the EILC programme (for ERASMUS students only). Please contact your International Office for additional application forms.

NTNU (The Norwegian University of Science and Technology) in Trondheim is arranging intensive summer courses in Norwegian for exchange students. The course lasts for 3 or 4 weeks. Information about this programme you will find on the following address: www.ntnu.no/international/norwegianlanguagecourses/summer/

There is a limited number of places in these courses.

Note: The dead-line for application is June 1, 2011.

Semester course at Sör-Tröndelag University College:

Every semester the university college has Norwegian language classes for international students. You learn some basic Norwegian, something about Norwegian culture and way of life and it will also include a few excursions (museum, theatre). This course does not give you any credits and is not compulsory. For those of you who have some prior knowledge of Norwegian, this is not the course to take you much further in your language training. It might be fun, though, and gives you the chance to meet other international students than the business students.
