Introduction to Norway - 6 ECTS (spring and autumn term).
The main aim of this course, offered by HiST, is to provide students with an opportunity to learn about Norway. The course also serves as an arena for wider international contact and learning; exchange students from many countries take part in excursions and teaching sessions, and work together in internationally mixed groups on assignments. Topics dealt with in the course include Norwegian geography, history, economy, political structure, culture and social conditions as well as more local topics such as the history of Trondheim.
