HiST Faculty of Teacher and Interpreter Education is located in Trondheim, Norway. We are presently educating around 1000 students in degree programmes within the fields of Teacher Education and Interpreter for the Deaf. We offer education at a high academic level, and we emphasize the combination of theoretic curriculum and experience from Norwegian elementary schools, 6-16 years old.

Exchange students

We welcome exchange students from partner institutions, and try our best to make your stay rewarding. We offer accommodations, a beginners course in Norwegian and social activities. We hope this chance to experience our university college, city and country will be interesting and beneficial for you and for us here in Trondheim. We are looking forward to meeting you.

Faculty of Teacher and Interpreter Education is located at Rotvoll, some kilometres east of the town centre. Our lecture rooms, study halls, workrooms and library are all well equipped and the working conditions are good. The environment close the sea is beautiful.
